A simple faith and tenderness
can overcome the mounting mess
caused by selfishness and pride
giving love a cause to hide

As we rid ourselves of pride
leave the world locked outside
our hearts will turn to one another
husband, wife, partner, lover

Love is a cure for all that ails
a weight that balances all the scales
what we put in we're sure to get out
nothing wasted, a life devout

A loving kind

Love is found in moments
strung together with hope
one attaching to the other
shared memories as rope

Begun with a single knot
making one from two
weaving dreams togehter
that's what love can do

strengthen the cords that binds
String me along in this life
with memories of a loving kind

There is none that could replace the space you hold in my heart

with no way to look from up above

Thoughts like water flow
from the fountain head that is you

I try to think of you before I go to sleep
in the hope these thoughts my mind will keep
